Thanks to video conferencing platforms like Zoom, I don’t have to completely give up my favorite leisurely weekend past times during the current “stay-at-home” order. I loved how our virtual brunch provided a forum where we could step away from the conversation about COVID-19 and dedicate an hour to talk about regular life….

With things rapidly changing from one day to the next, one thing that has remained constant is my gratitude for being
able to travel the world with a phenomenal group of amazing women. I understand that certainty is natural to humans with most of us wanting to know when something is happening immediately. I’m choosing to focus on gratitude, meditation and my task list….

Considered the 1st generation of “independent” American women, flappers were a generation of young 1920s women who were unapologetic about wearing short skirts, bobbed their hair, listened to jazz and had no interest in flaunting what the generations before them considered acceptable behavior……
